Galvanized wire, or better known as zinc wire or slippery wire, is made of low carbon steel by drawing, pickling, rust removal, reinforcement and cooling, and is covered by a galvanized process.
This wire is classified as low carbon wire which is used for various types of applications such as wire ties, gabions, etc. Galvanized wire is available in various wire diameter sizes, ranging from BWG 16 (1.6 mm) to BWG 6 (4.87 mm). The wire is coated with a layer of zinc around 40 g / m2.
